Educational goals
The main goal of the AutoCAD training is to prepare participants to work independently in a CAD environment. The training is aimed at providing comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for the effective use of AutoCAD in everyday design work. The training focuses on the acquisition of practical skills in the use of AutoCAD, such as creating 2D drawings, configuring the work environment, using blocks, layers, dimensioning, annotating and printing documentation.

- is able to configure the working environment in AutoCAD, adjusting settings and preferences;
- is able to use blocks, layers and styles to obtain consistent and legible documentation;

Introduction to AutoCAD
- Understand the user interface – including the toolbar, command line, and dashboards
- Learning basic drawing tools – such as drawing lines, circles, polygons and rectangles
- Working with layers – creating, modifying, blocking and searching for layers
- Using drawing templates and adjusting work environment settings
2D Drawing
- Creating basic objects – lines, circles, polygons
- Editing objects – copying, moving, rotating, scaling
- Use keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation and editing
- Working with blocks – inserting ready-made blocks, editing blocks, creating blocks with attributes
2D Drawing Techniques
- Dimensioning – linear, angular, radius, diameter
- Adding annotations – inserting texts, tables, tolerances
- Applying hatching – filling the surface with various patterns
- Creating references – working with layers, attributes, properties
Project management
- Sheet layout configuration – margins, scales, grids
- Printing drawings and exporting to different formats
- Teamwork – file management, reviews, sharing
