Autodesk Revit MEP Level 2

For whom?

Training dedicated to building system designers, students and academics who know the basics of the Autodesk Revit.

  • Number of days: 2
  • Duration: 16 h
  • Materials: YES

Educational goals

Students will have the skills to use the tools of Autodesk Revit, in particular:

  • Creating technical documentation
  • generating a report, creating statements based on the report and applying the results to the drawing
  • creating printout sheets
  • editing Autodesk Revit families
  • creation of basic plumbing installation systems

Course schedule: Autodesk Revit MEP Advanced

Inserting and modifying elements

  • labelling of plant components
  • creating legends of channels, pipes, computing areas (spaces)
  • creating lists of plant components containing parameters available at the factory for a given type of elements

Creating installation diagrams using Revit MEP software

  • Inserting the necessary sanitary devices to create the installation

Defining the necessary information about the building, and generating a heat and cooling load report for this building (results obtained on the basis of the entered information about the rooms)

  • introduction of calculation areas – space, defining calculation parameters for them, such as: internal profits from lighting people, etc.
  • introduction of zones – grouping areas with the same calculation parameters – defining the calculation temperatures, the amount of ventilation air, etc. (the tool can be used, for example, within the area serviced by the control panel)
  • defining other parameters needed for calculations (heat transfer coefficients for walls, windows, etc.)
  • generating a report, creating statements based on the report and applying the results to the drawing

Creating and Modifying Autodesk Revit Families

  • Working with families: creating and modifying sample families for sanitary installations

Presentation of the project and obtaining information from the model

  • Creating annotations and statements: adding dimensions, working with text and label, creating a legend, working on statements
  • Preparation of construction documentation: adding sections, creating printout sheets, exporting content to CAD formats.
