Educational goals:
- Provide participants with technical knowledge and practical skills related to the use of Digital Twin technology in facility management.
- Teaching participants how to prepare and use laser scanning to create 2D documentation and 3D models of buildings.
- Familiarity with software combining Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Facility Management (FM), such as Siemens Building X Litecycle Twin (formerly Ecodomus) or Autodesk Tandem.
Learning outcomes:
Attendees will:
- be able to prepare and interpret documentation based on laser scanning data.
- acquire skills in the use of specialized BIM and FM software to manage digital property twins.
- gain competence in defining and understanding the stages of development of Digital Twin technology and applying this knowledge to improve real estate management practices.
- learn to use digital models in their daily facility management practice, which includes coordinating models, exporting COBie data, as well as updating operational documentation and data in FM systems.
- effectively manage digital assets in the context of inspection deadlines, warranties and the required additional work.
